Below this post is 1939 to present- there is a google link that takes you straight to pictures proving the City Manager, Joe Slocum is slaughtering with water. In this latest meeting he is grasping at straws but the pictures show when it was a farm in 1939 do not show a stream. The map he is speaking of in this last meeting is on the link as well. The farm is gone, and a ditch was dug for the run off from the new Rte 1. New Note 4/9 for engineer input- At the end of the 4/1/14 City Council Meeting (link below) Evil City Planner, Designer of Drowning and Denial, Wayne Marshall comes up to the podium to state that he has quad maps from 1903 that show the stream and then he shoots me the evil eye. That man does not have empathy, he is driven and ill.  I googled quad maps and got one from 1917- to the right you can see the cluster of streets which is in town. Say it was a stream for arguments sake- it was moved when the houses went up. Therefore not a "natural outlet" as the local ordinance references. Let's go one step further and imagine it is a natural stream. On the link is my map that I tracked following the water (Slocum of course, didn't have any maps for drainage but would charge me hundreds, maybe thousands to try and find some). From 2 miles away they are force channeling it, culverting under roads and even Rte 1, all over- 14 sites, 2 miles of highway runoff on both sides, forcing it to the flood zone A, flood plain of Seavew Terrace on all 3 sides. No rights of ways, no easements. no conscience, slaughter us with water and destroy us. Most disgusting is that Seaview Terrace IS NOT a natural outlet, making them white collar murderers because we can go under in moments, Slocum refuses to even put us in a Mitigation Plan with FEMA and Waldo County EMA. He is angry, lies, bullies, and is not competent. Ditto for City Planner, Wayne Marshall and Code Enforcement Officer Tod Rosenburg and City Attorney Bill Kelly.

4/24/14 Gave my ward Council Mary Mortier and reality agent (network corruption web) final request for public spending spread sheet. She tosses me back to Joe Sloscum, City Manager. Time to hit the pavement to get a petition and hold them accountable for misspending. Sure wish I had Elizabeth Warren- D Senate, Mass. as my Council. Belfast would be shining true to the residents who volunteer endlessly and pay for the corruption of City Hall. This accounting will surely blow our follicles out. True to form, City Council and City Manager refuse to save Seaview Terrace from their corrupt ego's  I prove AGAIN that the City is force flooding via the BELFAST CONSULTING ENGINEER NEIL FINLAYSON reporting in 1987 that this is a drainage ditch. I show the picture of this ditch, in 6/2010 that was 2 ft wide and 2 ft deep. After spring melt in 2011- white water rapids tore through for days and days, ripping away over 600 ft of my property. Right up to my newly installed 6k fence. Just a bit more and away it would have went.

City Manager, Joe Slocum committed to Seaview Terrace road work in the last meeting but wants to take the cheapest way out. Destroy more of our property with digging drainage ditches in our front yards that will soon look like my backyard ravine. 

They refused to plan and prepare by putting us in the TIF (Tax Increment Finance)and Mitigation Plan. They refuse to provide the 4 year spread sheet for spending on legal fees, grants, matching funds, capital projects, recreation, consultations/studies. I request this accounting again direct to my Council, Mary Mortier, ASAP before they start hacking away at the blue, pink and yellow collars, resident infrastructure and schools in this budget.

Councilor Hurley told me in the last meeting that I need to stay and wait for the communications portion where they will address the open to the public comments. They have taken the 5th in all meetings by orders of the City Attorney because each time they open their mouths they hang themselves. Sometimes they disobey the mighty one, unable to curtail their ego's.

Communications spotlights their true incompetence and dribble. It is painful to watch, and a true test of keeping my head out of the wall when I am in the same room as them. This meeting I award myself the "Hole-less Wall Award". 

FF to5:50/communications City Manager, Joe Slocum goes back to hiding behind the City Attorney (clearly he reads this blog since he had that 12/27/2011 letter in hand. Takes him 19 hours to find zero public documents for me but they are overflowing with their maps and documents for cover ups. I endure the dribble of his problems to get mud cleaned up around some poles, the public bathrooms being unlocked and locked, all during FLOOD TIME and mud season, concern only for City property.

Councilor Eric Sanders is status quo- rhetoric mediation much ado about nothing. That's what his "reality" is. I think he even records himself on his phone when he speaks. 




FF to 8:44 Incredibly, Councilor Nancy Hamilton, at communications, had this to say (sadly and surely she prepared this balderdash) Happy Tax Day. Because we are living here and seeing where our money goes, I think we are a little more accountable than the Feds. Hope to balance the needs of the taxpayers with the needs of the town.

4/15/14 Their cover up is beyond stupid and on our taxdollars, 4 years and counting. In 1987, the original owner, Dr. Caswell of my house(1967) and neighbors had been pleading for an investigation for flooding of yards and basements. The City of Belfast sent the City Engineer- Neil Finlayson (see full letter on www.belfastliars.blogspot.com)  SEE #3- "NOTHING MORE THAN A DRAINAGE DITCH" The liars blog are some early emails- 2011/12 from City Hall and my Councilor, Marina DeLune. I didn't post them before because I was trying to protect her. Her "constituents" set her up, she is just clueless and weak. Councilor Roger Lee was the one who convinced her to run, he is the treasurer at her church, she believes in him. Shameful.  As you read her emails, you will see they are feeding her false information to send me into an abyss of dismiss and break down. Getting so personal, trying to elicit sympathy from me when the City Manager was 5 months into his corruption, and recent tragic deaths in his family. Totally unethical and unprofessional. I was so angry that she did that to me. Councilor Hurley takes a public rant against me, Slocum and Marshall receive more pity. Pathetic. I feel sorry for them all. And the City Attorney, Bill Kelly speaking for them all and running out of the hall when I question him. The most pathetic of all. And they keep stroking each other as they go under from the misspending  of tax dollars, drowning the residents without a thought. Over and over and over again.

3.  Dr. Caswell has mentioned that after heavy rains the brook can flood and create problems for all owners whose lots back up to it. He suggests that the City clean it out to reduce this tendency.  I have a feeling that this brook is NOTHING MORE THAN A DRAINAGE DITCH PUT IN BY THE DEVELOPER OF THE TRACT. 

You could suggest to Dr. Caswell that his brook is private  property  and that if he, and other owners, feel strongly about the  problem, that the hire a contractor to clean out the brook to their specifications.


The City Attorney, Bill Kelly (1/4/12 Meeting)trying to use this with held public document, specific to my property, in his defense. Forced to admit that there is not a natural outlet when I uncovered the with held and buried 1967 development plans. Showing a ditch that was dug in the 60's (for run off from the 1963 construction of the new Rte 1) had to be pushed back. That is when the began the destruction and corruption to this area. Rather than build sewers and take it to City maintained property, the unleash it to private property and continue adding to us until present, over 15 developed large sites, thousands of acres, more than half paved, forcing it all to little Seaview Terrace, private property, flood zone, flood plain, no ROW, no easements...slaughter the 12 families with water and destruction. And deny it.

In the 4/1 meeting (link below) City Manager Joe Slocum continues to hang himself. The map he refers to, is in this link below. It is the ditch that was dug after the farm (apple orchard) was sold off. Land cleared and ditch dug for runoff from the new Rte 1. Surely, that was not ethcial or probably legal and the beginning of the slaughter by officials. Joe Slocum refuses to be reasonable, he and Wayne Marshall continue with their defense for slaughtering residents. Slocum cinches his neck right here" Whether that stream was moved or not makes no difference to us at all. There is no indication the City ever moved it. So, if it was moved from where her living room is today, to her backyard where it is today, it is still a natural stream." WWWHHAAAT???  Buffoon dribbling, costing us a fortune. City Planner, Wayne Marshall, Buffoon II, lops up to the podium with his new dribble for a 1907-1908 quad map showing A stream. Just stop it already, so sad. Where ever this stream was, it was not in the Seaview Terrace boundaries. But, hey- according to Joe- he can make a ditch anywhere and declare that a stream and drown those residents and treat them like dirt with full support of City Council, City Hall,  BPD, City Attorney, DEP, Attorney General,  the whole State backing up the corruption. Their reasoning for slaughtering residents is so twisted. manufacturing a stream to drown us- where they actually are bound to divert water and protect residents in a flood plain, flood zone. Unbelievable evil and calculated planning to abuse the innocent and struggling.

One inch of water is equal to 1 foot of water flying through my yard. Up to three inches- after that- I've yet to find out. Illegal stock piling of snow at all these sites all winter, 1000 acres or so, spring melt, heavy rain, buh bye Seaview Terrace. Survivors will file class action law suit. Buh bye Belfast. City Manager and City Planner will scurry away, pockets full, to the next town to drown.

Everyone is involved from the real estate agents up to the Attorney General's office including Govenah LeRage. So much material, so many documented meetings, emails, unbelievable audacity and stupidity.
I've been at this for 4 years- much of it documented in several blogs. They overwhelm to intimidate- so there is lots of rhetoric, but the maps and pictures are the proof. DEP Commissioner Aho corruptly closed the investigation that took me 2 years to get. The Real Estate Commission corruptly dismissed my complaint against the Realtor- Earl Black who owns half the agencies in Maine. They refuse to give me MLS listings for properties on my street that did disclose the stream.

Belfast City Hall, City Attorney, and DEP all with hold and manipulate public documents. Trying to wear me down, intimidate me, alienate me, use police power, try to stop me from speaking at meetings, media blocking my posts and now totally censoring 2 years of postings in the local paper. I will say, I was shocked to read posts in the Bangor Daily News and Republican Journal, my posts are tame compared to many. And all of my posts are relevant to local, state and school corruptions.

I was afraid to post this, which means post it. Both are City employees taking personal liberties to dissuade me. Look at this meeting- never disorderly- I need to stay and speak. Some 35 meetings and nary a mistake. Here's what happened when I left @ 9 pm ( the police officer was even more persistent, baiting me as I am thinking about it now). The police force knows the full history- they been ordered to be in every meeting since City Hall tried and tried but couldn't stop me from speaking. The camera guy, I've know since 1975? and his family in Bayside. Not friends then but definitely friendly. Small village, like Peyton Place. Damn. Hate that. I told him awhile ago to stop crossing lines. Keep it professional. See below for the actual meeting and where an awful neighbor takes a shot at me too. 

City Council and City Manager stoop even lower, if you can believe that. Taking personal shots at me trying to taint the public. t I proved myself along time ago, and have been waiting for them to open their ego mouths- they finally did. Truth always over rules- I got this one. No doubt, the City Attorney was having a cow when he saw them breaking his order's to keep silent. Then they had the officer follow me out the meeting to have a chat. Telling me I was getting close to disorderly conduct, I'm careful- I know they want to take me out- the cop keeps at it though, then tells me I need to take a different approach, in his 35 years on the force... on and on. He was courteous, but his message was clear. I stated the facts for him and his last attempt was to pull my kids into it- I told him as horrible as all this is, my kids are watching their mother take it, and keep pushing back with facts and honesty. It's a life lesson, Mom always will always be accountable and hold others accountable. The officer had me out there for about a half hour and the guy that tapes the meetings- he came out and interrupted me as I was talking and started asking why none of my neighbors care. He was being so rude- I know him too. I began explaining and he walked away as I was talking. Jerk. But I know City Hall put them both after me. I was fine, they can't break me, the hump is behind me. Full force ahead- protest- they must chitting bricks. I'm charming and funny when I'm out talking to people. It's a gift that I really love. Yak Yak Yak, laugh, laugh, laugh- make fun of City Hall- that's golden.

Per the State of Maine Municipal Association property taxes go first to education and basic municipal services (fire, police, rescue services, trash disposal, road upkeep and upgrades, clean air, and enforcement of health and safety codes. After those are satisfied, than to libraries, recreation, etc. 

Click #7 communications ff to 2:55 Slocum, Hurley and David Smith take liberty to discredit me, they could have told me to stay, Joe didn't speak at all when I asked him for the documents. They know I leave. David Smith is my neighbor (does not own stream property) who harassed me the first month I moved in, 7/2010, He is a dog hater and was set to silence mine. Another neighbor 1/4 of mile away from him (3 lots up) owned a small dog- Yorkie? and David came to her house over and over. He could hear her dog bark through out the day. He would not let up, kept coming to her house and calling (just like me) The woman was forced to put a shock collar on her little dog to stop the harrassment. She said her dog was, never the same, she has never forgiven herself, 


The Belfast Chief of Police, told me of a judge in Augusta, Me. ordered a dogs voice box removed due to a complaining neighbor. No doubt, that is where David was going with this. I beat him to the Chief, had the Chief come to my house to see all I did with a 5 ft fence and 100% screening, told him to put camera's on me to prove David was fabricating. David went to the Chief a week later, the Chief told him that I had gone above and beyond. David became irate, Chief came back to my house, and explained an order of protection to me. Lovely, if the Chief is telling me, I better do it. So I did. Welcome to Seaview Perish, I mean Terrace, AKA Hotel Hell on the outside- stay in, stay away, more thugs coming...:(

Buyer Beware- Not- Buyer Run, Run, Run. All my blogs are overwhelming with Belfast City Hall corruption, their motto and the State's - "We plead the 5th, sue us" . Confident to devastate your finances, soul and all basic rights. I was sold undisclosed hell 6/2010 and to date I continue to present the corruption. Maine is 4th in corruption, home rule, municipalities govern themselves with the support and approvals of the State, democracy a disgrace. This is the rule, not the exception.

In Belfast, the corruption in the slaughter of my neighborhood of Seaview Terrace is documented since 1987, but began approx. 1965? This was a farm, aerial views show the corruption beginning with the plans for the construction of the new Rte 1 (bypassing the old Rte 1 through town, also known as Northport Ave.)  The 1939 picture, where 40 is written is now Seaview Terrace. Then 1966? and the freshly dug ditch visible. The sub division of Seaview Terrace not proposed yet. It looks like ditch was dug to carry the runoff from the new Rte 1 which will run parallel to Seaview Terrace. The proposal comes in, and they have to move that ditch, to allow for more lots. My side of the street. They push the ditch back 70 ft, ripping up the tree line, and never stabilizing the banks. Not concerned for erosion from 2? miles of highway runoff through private property. They concoct a plan with DOT/DEP and City Hall to call this a natural stream (to coincide with the local ordinance to drain to a natural outlet), make it wetlands for DEP control, lock up the files and throw away the key. That was the start- till present day they are force channeling runoff, melt off, from businesses and developments from miles outside of Seaview Terrace, to the private property, flood zone, flood plain of Seaview Terrace. Creating a disaster zone and full force abuse to stop the accountability. State to local, all implicated and covering- DEP, DOT, City Hall, businesses and residents.

Some residents receive deals, some have had to do illegal drainage work, others sell and do not disclose the hell. Turnover high, all in-town, and real estate agents are the nasty link. Rather than unite and demand Belfast City Hall to provide basic infrastructure to sell these properties honestly, they choose to stick it to the buyer, knowing the powers are in place to protect them and crush the buyer. I did it all by the book, told them I did not want any water issues, have in writing where I refused properties that disclosed a stream, drove from NJ to see the properties, had a summer residence in the neighboring village of Bayside since 1969, I was no stranger to this area. The property inspector, DJ Brown of China Villag, Me. corrupted his report, supervised by reality agent Sam Mitchell, Bill Ingersoll and Jan Andrews all of the BH&G, now Masiello Group Realtor, High St. Belfast Me. in April of 2010- spring melt, stream/ditch  and un-stabilized banks not disclosed in report or listing. At showing a few months before in 12/2009- 2 inches of fresh snow covered yard. The stream not visible and at move in in 6/2010 it looked like the drainage ditch surrounding the 1/4 acre property on all 3 sides. That spring, 4/2011 all hell would break lose. Wild rapids thundering through my yard for over a week, ripping away over 600 ft of property. Welcome back to hell, thought I'd escaped the domestic abuse by the skin of our teeth to begin again in safety. All residents are in danger, corruption off the charts, a respected official confiding that "We have not seen anything yet" Shocked at what their plans are. It's happening, has been happening, and I'm doing all I can to bring it all out. Not just my property- all properties, all abuse and corruption. Four years later, eyes are opening wide. Still, no one has stepped up to unite for accountability and resolution. Infrastructure and schools denied, what a disaster.

DEP including Commissioner Aho, Maine State Real Estate Commission, Governor LePage, Senator Thibodeau, Senator Olympia Snow, Senator Susan Collins, Senator Angus King, Belfast City Hall, Belfast City Council, Attorney General, FBI, FEMA, Waldo County EMA, Belfast Police Department, Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff, JB Turner, President of Front Street Ship Yard, Greg Dutch owner of Dutch Chevrolet,residents, real estate agents, Belfast Arts in the Park, Belfast Celtic Celebration, Bill Maher, reaching out to Veterans, all media, on and on...I've chased them all, pleading and proving, Save Seaview, Save Belfast- no comment. That woman is crazy relentless, we would NEVER do those things. Right. Water doesn't lie, neither does the corruption and abuse to other residents properties. The blogs contain the overwhelming proof. However, a tactic is to overwhelm with rhetoric.  I was beat up when I moved here, it's been difficult. I try the best I can to document and spread awareness with blogging, posting, protesting and attending City Council meetings where they try to shut me up like no others. Then alienate, slander, intimidate, basic mental torture. And no one stops them, that is the heart break. Humanity.

Excuse the repetition and disorganization through out the blogs, every day is another battle. I'm alone taking them ALL on. And will until.

This request for public money spent on fees and wants is crucial. Belfast Gotham City Manager Joe Slocum and City Attorney Bill Kelly will corrupt this to the hilt. All Belfast residents should be on this. I can't get diddly squat from them alone. But I sure do keep trying- 4 years and counting. :)

To date, the agency that has sold me hell has not responded to my request for these MLS listings. I am sending this request out to all. These MLS listings are in the archives, please mail them to me. In the attachment is a brief summary of intent to destroy my new life. Beginning with my refusal for stream properties and water concerns through out. As you will see, Bill Ingersoll went to great lengths to deceive me, a domestic survivor paying cash to relocate to safety. As you look as these requested listings on Seaview Terrace, do you see stream disclosure? The day of the showing of Seaview Terrace was after a few inches of fresh snow. The yard was level, agents stated there were no water issues or problems with neighborhood, just a bad market. That other undisclosed hell on Birch St, where the agent really baited me, saying that huge crack in the basement wall was repaired and not a problem. No way, I ran from there. It is still for sale right? Secret hell all over that subdivision.  They never answered my questions as to how subdivision infrastructure work with the City.

Jan Andrews recommended DJ Brown for the property inspection. Good. Spring melt too- Sam Mitchell supervised the inspections- see the report in the attachment- stream never disclosed AGAIN, or unstabilized banks, the drywall at the entrance is peeling- one coat of paint! Looks most of the drywall was replaced- new cracking in many places.

How can you sell these properties of hell and ruin people's lives? There is no doubt that I was thorough, did everything, asked everything, and Bill took me out. Jan took me out. Sam took me out. DJ Brown took me out. Belfast City Planner, Manager, Code Officer, Council, Attorney, DEP, Realtor Commission, all these businesses drowning us, a flood zone, flood plain, hiding documents, beating me to death. Stress kills, we were at death's door when we came here in 2010 to begin again. Puzz Caswell- prior owner of my house and the first to start the deceptions and corruptions to the buyer. She even told me that it was the City's responsibility to fix Seaview, she had never seen the destruction so bad, and then she lies to the commission with a written testimony that I caused the erosion. That I ripped up the banks for a garden, that I never got a fence permit, lies, total lies.

Four years later, the basic infrastructure for residents is denied and you trick the buyers. You should be screaming at City Hall. The schools are a disaster, the mil rate is going to go through the roof. This was years and years in the making and no one spoke up or stood up. That I know of. It is all coming to a nasty head. Soon, I will be out protesting and spreading awareness. It is sickening to think I was denied life by Bill Ingersoll, Jan Andrews and Sam Mitchell.

Thanks for all the listings. I am booked at the Comfort Inn for the week after Xmas. Monday- Thursday are good to show. I'd prefer to get them all in on the same day. These are the listings, 955519, 929401, 936556 ( YES, 2/BR- ok- I like that it is by the Y), 930751 and 955457. These last 2 on Seaview- what is the reason for selling on these? Is anything happening that will make me sad for living there? I have been through hell and back and do not want trouble with any neighbors, construction and persistent noise- is Rte 1 a problem for these residents? Do any of these listings have these problems?

My plans are to sell and be in Belfast by summer 2010. To move my house, I may have to take a beating- but I will and will scale down my purchase. I am determined and will be buying.

Hi Laurie:  The house on High St. has a wet yard and when I was last in it, it had mold growing on one wall.  I do not think this would work for you.  A short sale is one that takes a ton of patience to work through and a lot of time.  It would be good if you could avoid the short sale homes. 
Be patient.  The market is beginning to get better.  Check often with your Realtor on the market conditions in your area.  Our area is always about 6 months behind the rest of New England.  Take care, Jan

I dropped my price by 25k a week ago and haven't had one showing. The ranch on High St is not going to be within my range. I have to have a little reserve for emergency until I get a job. Seaview is best but if that sells I need a back up. #98213 is close to the park on Wight St. It's small but at that price I can manage. Is it decent? The yard looks good, not sure how short sales work.

I'm waiting till month end and if no offers, I'll drop another 10 and so on.

Hi- 

Glad to hear the house is empty- did they replace the dishwasher? "As Is" on the appliances?? I thought there was a 1 year warranty on the home. I didn't really look at the appliances because I figured it would be covered if there was anything wrong with them. Usually men aren't as observant as women- the house should look like the pictures look- how is the yard? Can you put in a clause that it is subject to your inspection when you return in May?

Also, my closing isn't until after 6/23, but before 6/30- so far it's 6/25. My buyer put a Time of Essence on the contract to be sure it closes by the end of June for the mortgage.

Hi,

We spoke the other day about the eroison (the mowers came back to mow the area but I had already done it). I went down to City Hall and Wayne showed me a map where many runoff's (I think around 5, I asked for a copy of that map but haven't rec'd) are channeled into the stream. Wayne has yet to respond how it can be legal for the City to divert storm drain to private property and incredibly a floodplain to boot.

The stream appears to me to have been trenched because it clear of large boulders which I see up on the banks. Wayne is telling me it is a natural stream and the City did not trench. Do you or Karen know if this stream was ever altered by anyone?

I will foward you the emails so far.

I don't know if Karen is aware of the additional constrcution of the professional building of WCGH behind us. They are doubling the size and moving the chillers and other equipment to directly behind us. It is currently behind the Smith's @ 5 Seaview and Mr. Smith said the constant noise from the chiller is "maddening". Mike Hogan has tried to appease him with shubbery and shields that have been ineffective. In the public hearing last week, Hogan said he is moving the equipment because of Mr. Smith. I wrote in and asked for the units to be put in front of the building (they can enclose them and deal with it) but Hogan said he would be "appalled" to drive in and see that. He was argumentative with the board, saying it doesn't meet the 75 decibels and is not concerned with the residents. They will be expanding the building again and enlarging the unit as well and Hogan is not concerned with that. On 5/25 at 6pm the Planning Board is coming to the site, the public can attend but cannot comment until the meeting immediately following at 7. They are accepting written/email concerns prior.

I do not want to be told that he will put in a few useless shrubs or a small screen. I am asking for it to be moved or for a full well made sound barrier to enclose the chiller and for screening so that we are not looking at the additional machinery as well ( a huge white propane tank, electrical boxes and who knows what else- he never presented that in his application) The storm runoff will also be addressed and the land owned by the mental health for hazardous trees.

I watched hours/days of debate for the removal of a tree because of the wind turbine blades that will be moved through our roads. I told the planning board that I expect the same support and concern as it will clearly negatively affect quality of life.

Despicable and evil. This appears to be their plan- why else would they force the destruction and death that will come. Overdue. 40 years in the making and continuing.

After 10E this is posted NOTE: DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, THE REST OF THIS MEETING CANNOT BE DISPLAYED Strange, the meeting is airing in full, why can't they get the Thompson's Wharf debacle on. You can watch it though, hit 10E and ff to 12 minutes in when Harbor Master Kathy Pickering steps up. At 31:54 in Hurley says he does not know specifics but “did not feel good with exactly what went down with this situation … Reflect very poorly on the Harbor Committee in particular.”At 32 minutes in- City Planner, Wayne Marshall is motioning for City Manager, Joe Slocum to go for a private talk away from the meeting. Hurley does not want any loopholes to rebuild the wharf as is. Joe Slocum tells Council the motion will be in 2 parts, and it seems strictly a formality to get the project in motion. Knowing the Planning Board will over ride the Harbor Committee's final recommendations if they are not in favor again. At 39:40 Hurley pledges his respect for Kathy and the situation “bugs me”. To which Council Mary Mortier responds “It's dirty pool” Really, Ms Councilor/ Realtor, selling hell to the innocent and honest thorough buyers and then taking the 5th. Mortier refusing to even provide MLS listings on Seaview Terrace and I quote Mary Mortier's email dated 2/18/14 “It seems I will not be able to provide you with the Information you requested, per my office & Insurance.”

IT IS City Hall and Realtors playing dirty pool with people's lives but the people will shoot the final blackball. This is the first shot- boycott City Hall protest can be another. Slocum also mentions an engineer is hired to decide parking on the Common. Another force of force and sucking on residents and tax dollars. Later they nickle and dime every resident service and City employee as they blow our bucks out their blow hole for their wants. Someone has got to request a spread sheet now for 3 year spending on City Attorney fees, law suits, grants, consultations, projects (cost approved and final cost, harbor walk, Front Street parking lots, road and sewer work, Roger Lee's public access rocks, the Belfast signs, the Harbor Walk, the Rail Trail, that dam recreation area with 20k in consultations then dropped, etc) BEFORE THE BUDGET BEGINS!! They will not respond to my requests. 

(At the 2/18/14 meeting http://belfastme.swagit.com/play/02182014-1309/#2 I plead for saving at #4 and @ 10E- note that I was sent an email that the public hearing this is always at the start of meetings, would be heard THIS time, much later, at the agenda discussion. BIG FAT LIE to get me to come late and miss my chance to speak. Proven here- look at 10E- no section for public hearing. Slocum had to jump in with it and Ash was ready to move right past me. But I was ready to pounce as well. I figured they were setting me up, so I came early anyway and now they had to let me speak twice. Crime never pays. I was powerful at the 10E speaking. Mayor Ash trying to stop my freedom to speak of City Hall abuse and yelling at me.

City Hall made it loud and clear that they could give a damn about how they endanger residents and destroy their property. At minimum, the Northport Ave. TIF boundaries should have been changed to include Seaview Terrace via the 2012 Annex additions as I have asked at least 10 times prior for 2 years. No comment. Business tax dollars and business grant funding would lessen the cost for the water slaughter to Seaview Terrace from City Hall, businesses and D.O.T.- Rte 1 No and South, sparing the residents tax payer dollars.

Captain Albert Steven School was issued the building permit corruptly by Belfast Planning Board intending all along to slaughter water shed residents with illegal runoff. Sanderson fought the runoff for 3 years and won. In 2002, the water slaughter path site plans were changed and that water would be illegally sent to Seaview Terrace (one of 12? sites- could be more) Mayor Ash spoke in this 2/18/14 meeting of activity on the Sanderson properties during agenda 10G. Clearly identifying the property on the Rte 1 No. side- where in 2002 a proposal for a development of 80 homes was an option under negotiations with Richmond Group Subdivision for the 28 acre site, runoff to Seaview Terrace private property.

Open to the Public #6 – I came to the 3/04/14 meeting to address Mayor Ash's comment on that development. During the 3 years that I have exposed residents abuse and corruption to some 30 City Council meetings, not one Council member has responded, reacted, investigated, nothing, except drown Seaview Terrace, all corrupt and guilty. But at this meeting Mayor Ash spoke up and denied his Sanderson comment. Simply stupid- it's on the meeting video. After I put Mayor Ash in his place, Council Eric Sanders tries to diminish my concern for this new activity on this same parcel for an 80 home sub-division. As corruptly always, no concern for this document being removed from the file prior to my viewing by City Planner, Wayne Marshall (1 of 100 abuses over 3 years), or for the sheer corruption of the content. No, instead Eric and Ash proceed to laugh at me. This City Council and City Hall is a disgrace. Hurley calls Eric out later on his biased rhetoric in 10c when Eric is campaigning for his personal agenda with the ball field. Hurley never promotes his personal agenda and bias, they all do, and that is not ethical. Total blatant corruption in public view.

After Mayor Ash see's I am going to bury him again, he gives me and only me the 3 minute get out.

#7 -First communications has Council Mike Hurley stating Maine was ranked 13th for happy people. He states “considering all the people who complain about stuff in this town, I was kind of surprised by that.” Then Council Nancy Hamilton tells how she will go back to visit a town where people were nice to her and her husband, Chair Planning Board- Paul Hamilton. They are mindless to the corruption of City Council, Planning Board, ZBA, Code Officer, City Planner, City Manager and City Attorney. Neglecting basic 101 necessities, infrastructure and education. Creating mistrust, fear, disgrace, misery and helplessness among residents. Choosing recreation, wants, ego's and business while destroying lives and robbing people and their properties.

10C- Parks is trying to trim the budget as ordered. Sanders should not be speaking to this at all. Mayor Ash pleads for the poor, stating these cuts to residents services are not a drop in the bucket compared to what City Hall spends on wants and waste. Stating it takes approx. $770,000 to raise the rate a mil. They want to charge for the pool and the 17k for the Walsh/Dog Park grounds care taking. Yet you must forward to 10G.

10G. Economic Developer Thomas Kitteredge is speechless when he requests permission to hire Ron Harriman to administer grant money and Council Nancy Hamilton immediately motions approval. Thomas is shocked, AND STATES- DON'T YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH THIS WILL COST? And Council and City Manager Joe Slocum laugh. Hurley says, “We're on a roll, don't mess with us.” The cost was not requested nor a concern. But they'll spend weeks on the budget to stick it to the already strapped City Hall services for residents and blue collar City Hall employees. Protest and Boycott City Hall. laurieallen55@msn.com

They have been forcing enormous volumes from business/highway impervious ground from miles outside and into the private property neighborhood, flood zone, flood plain, no ROW, no easements, of Seaview Terrace. Flooding us and endangering our lives daily. I have lived here 4 years and confirmed Seaview Terrace went under in 2009 and 2011. Honest residents are feared or bribed into silence. The City of Belfast has been forcing the water for 40 years and continues to do so until present day with new developments. City Hall denies this, locks up the documents and takes the 5th, refusing to speak and using any and all intimidation tactics to silence me. I first got wind of this TIF over 2 years ago and quickly began campaigning to get Seaview Terrace included in the boundaries to open up funding for infrastructure. Every meeting that the TIF was on the agenda, I was there, at least 5 meetings, countless emails, the City of Belfast refusing to hear me, to save us, continuing with their slaughter of water and stroking their ego's and visions of grandeur as the regular residents sleep. To date, I have attended over 30 meetings (see meetings in above tab on www.boycottbelfast.blogspot.com), volumes of emails, pouncing, pounding, protesting, relentless pressure and community alienation, state wide corruption involved- DEP, Attorney General, Governor, Senators, Belfast City Hall, enlisting protection from our police force and City Attorney. I stand, loud and true until...

Protocol for these public hearing is one speaking at the beginning. They sent me an email prior to the meeting TELLING me that the public hearing will not be in the beginning but when it comes up on the agenda. They were counting on me to come late, miss the public hearing and not allow me to speak. I came at the start of the meeting See City Manager Joe Slocum jump to tell me there will be 2 hearings. Clearly, his doing. Lucky me, now I get to speak 2 times- soft the first time, tough the second time. Also note just prior to my 2nd speaking- Mayor Ash does not open the meeting to the public hearing. They had an executive session prior to the meeting where I believe they rehearsed the public hearing portions, counting on me NOT showing up for the first one, and then not allowing me to speak at the 2nd hearing by stating they had a changed it in the beginning. They didn't get to do that because I was there at the beginning. Otherwise, City Manager Joe Slocum as he does at every meeting, issues last minutes changes to the agenda, would have said the public hearing for the TIF was listed twice in error, the second hearing is removed. But, I figured that out.  Cop followed me out like I'm the criminal. Mayor Ash laughing after I announced BOYCOTT.

Great- thanks- they are not active listings- all stream owners, 2 could not sell, the other to a Florida guy. Isn't that special? Only 4 properties own stream property- I am the 4th and from NJ. Isn't that extra special? MLS said in the archives and I have to request through an agent. My new NJ realtor friend said easy to access- she can't though cause she's NJ. Maybe meeting will be cancelled? Big heavy snow coming. I'd like to come to your office and get it. Let me know when- you can text me or call me @ XXX-XXXX. THE Northport TIF vote is the final hope. I have nothing to lose, Realtor stole it all. City Hall and Council try to finish the job and break me completely, mentally and financially.
