Posting this page public again (removed it from public viewing after the previous shaming, hoping it would be the last time) Wrong. Back on the shame wall.Done talking to the entitled ego.
Charles moved his truck out of his side yard right here again. Why does he do that. He can park it on the other side of his driveway and not be a problem for us to back out of our driveway. Beyond rude, it's dangerous.
When I first moved here in 2010, Bev Evans Messer (RIP) told me to stay away from Charles. He is interested in only one thing. Charles. I heeded the warning, and she was right. Shut that right down, and kept strict boundaries while being a good neighbor until I said enough. I ignore them.
Continually parking here where we have to back out of our driveway is nasty. Charles got mad at me when I put my mailbox at the corner of my driveway this past summer, saying it was just a matter of time before he backed into it. I told him I was sorry, but I had to put it there because of public works nailing me with the snow plow. Yet, they park here regardless of my many requests not to. Shame on you.

9/16/2015- I will never accept that others think they can break laws that hurt others and not be held accountable. The never ending law breaking with a smile that says my rights to my private property and my joy of life is of no matter. That is the way of life in Belfast, Maine. Confrontations are difficult, but necessary. Boundaries must be drawn. I hold the line and keep trying to work it out. The opposition can continue breaking laws and the situation escalates. Over 2 years ago my neighbor set up a deal for Sally to move in and pay rent. Sally and I are about the same age. Soon after, they got a puppy. I was concerned then because Charles occasionally doggie sat his dog from his ex marriage. He let the dog out without supervision of leashing. The dog would come across the street and into my yard. My beagles flip when they see an animal, especially on their turf. Ripping my curtains down and ripping into my leather couch. I'd go out and shoo the dog back and knock on the door. A sweet dog.
It traumatizes me every time I see a dog loose and unsupervised. Many of my family dogs were killed in front of our house by cars because my Mom just let them out. Others never came home. Cats too. We had many pets. High turn over. High trauma. We lived in a development not even near the danger of a Route 1 highway abutting Seaview Terrace yards and the Waldo County General Hospital/Northport Ave. (main artery into town from Rte 1)intersecting Seaview Terrace.
I told this to my neighbor, 5 years ago. To let him know that I will be vigilant if I see a stray dog.
The sweet dog (Cocoa?) came over only a few times and it was usually one of his sons that let the dog out. If I didn't bring the dog back, someone would hear my dogs flipping and surmise their dog was at my house. Someone would come and get him. I always let it go because I knew it was temporary. When I moved here in 2010, I took the little money I had and put up a 6k fence. Five foot tall, with privacy slats and additional covering with 3 ft tall fabric to block my dogs vision. I wanted to do all I could to be a good neighbor and dog owner. There is nothing more upsetting than to have a neighbor that does not properly care for their pets, especially violating ordinances of the leash law to protect everyone, including the pet.
After moving in, another neighbor, 2 houses down, began harassing me. I found out he had a history of issues and harassed another neighbor- far away from him- endlessly because he could hear the tiny Yorkie? Lhasa Apso? bark occasionally. This guy lives right across the street from the hospital and on the corner of Northport Ave. Motorcycles, helicopters, sirens, trucks, etc. are a constant. He is clearly sensitive to noise- why the hell is he living there and complaining about a tiny dog barking. He and his wife were obsessed. Calling me on the phone, coming to my house, getting another neighbor to join in. I could not please them- I never left my dogs outside when I was not home. I kept my windows closed. Squirrels are everywhere- rabbit to a beagle. I carried a water gun that silenced them if they got a whiff of the hunt. The other neighbor across the street and 2 houses down called in complaints that she could hear the dogs bark though my closed windows. WTF!! Animal control came many times too. He's a nice man. He has to respond. We got to be good friends.
I wrote a letter and gave it to every neighbor. I asked them to let me know if my dogs were bothering them and also would accommodate nap times if I knew what time they would like me to keep my dogs in case they let out a bark and woke them up. The complaining 2 neighbors did not respond and the other 9 did not have any problems with my dogs. They were quite sympathetic. Phew. We just wanted to begin our new lives under all radar in safety and privacy.
Having these 2 OCD neighbors call the cops on me for each bark was horrible. I went to see the then, now Sheriff, Belfast Chief of Police- Jeffrey Trafton. He was very kind as I explained the situation. He told me of a Judge in Augusta, Me. that had ordered the brutal and useless removal of a dog voice box because of a complaining neighbor. Then I knew that was David Smith's (the neighbor) plan. I told the Chief to please come to my house and see my dogs, the fence, my water gun, and to put camera's on my yard to prove I go above and beyond to be a responsible dog owner. The Chief came and was impressed.
The next week, David Smith went to the Chief to file a complaint against me. The Chief told him that he had already investigated and found no grounds to file a complaint. David became irate to the Chief. The Chief suggested that I get an order of protection. I did. David and his wife are heavy in the community and schools. They got/get revenge that way. Hurting my child's education is beyond scum. Despite them- Phi Beta Kappa Achievement recipient. The teachers share in that award. Thank you more than I can ever say.
Back to Charles and Sally. When they got this puppy, I was sick to my stomach. They didn't have a fence. I told my neighbor that puppies required constant supervision and training. He dismissed my concern, stating he has had dogs before. Sally worked from the house. I thought Sally would be responsible. I thought wrong. From the start, she would not train Blue or put him on a leash. I wasn't going to deal with her. I would text my neighbor that Blue was loose again. It was always when he wasn't home. When he was, he had voice command over Blue. Not her. One of those soft voices that no one can hear. Every week day, the puppy is loose. I text or call my neighbor and go out to try and get the puppy. Sally would then appear, without a leash, just walking and softly calling for the puppy who was yards down the road heading for Northport Ave. I'd have to yell Blue and he'd stop. She didn't care. She was never accountable, never sorry, and it's gone on for 2 years now. Out in the dark, snow, ice, plows, again, again, again.
Last year they got chickens. I like chickens. But not in my yard, more so, my beagles yard. They rule the front window, waiting for the mail truck, UPS, animal, some humans to go crazy until they are out of sight. Or I squirt them with the water bottle. No matter to the neighbor Charles and Sally. Again, again, again...
Belfast has an ordinance- chickens must be contained to your property. Dogs must be contained to your property and on leash in public if not trained for voice command. And definitely not left to roam unsupervised. My neighbor and Sally don't abide the law. They know what the City, the school, the players, and my ex have been doing to me. Yet, that can't allow me a little peace and sanctuary. They both make good salaries, but don't want to buy a fence. It's like a used car lot/adult toy lot over there. I even planted a little shade garden on his property, 3 years ago. Under the tree so I could look at something pretty as well as his elder neighbor. Sally dug it up. Gone.
With the City, they have been a problem as well. They are part of that community but are caught because the City is destroying all of Seaview Terrace, not just my property. My neighbor would prefer to stick his head in the sand and accept the corruption. With me blowing the lid off of the white collar corrupt- his reputation is on the line. He is trapped by his reputation worries. I sympathize. These "officials" use personal friendships to implicate. Think of those Bernie Madoff robbed blind. They thought they were all part of high society that is so proper and entitled. Look at me, look who I am, look at what I have, look who I'm with... backstabbers, liars and thieves. No thanks, that's why I am free to say- "You're no good, you're no good, you're no good...baby you're no good." I used to sing that to my husband ALL the time. He'd laugh and continue. I got out. To Belfast. To a whole pack of the same. Greedy ill ego's.
As a last resort to force my neighbors into protecting Blue dog from their neglect, I posted this page. After I knew they had read it, I'd make it private again and hope to keep it that way. Then, endangering Blue would begin again and more things escalated. May 2015, after posting this page again with the STRONG email, I made this page private again. I continued to advise my neighbor of ordinance violations they continued to break with the leash and chicken ordinances. More lip service and more violations. It peaked this week.
I wanted to share this page with a friend and had to make it public to do so. I had every intention of making it private again. Then the event's of the past few days has changed my mind. Yo neighbor-
Instead of buying yourself another toy, put up a fence to protect your animals. Be a good neighbor, respect the law and others property and basic rights. I do.
My neighbor is trying to paint me as an animal hater because THEY endanger animals by letting a puppy run free in the road, never supervised, Route 1 abutting us, also intersecting with busy Northport Ave... 2 years of this with constant communications to please save Blue. Add in the politics, the threats to my life for trying to save my hone and a year of more disrespect and breaking the leash and chicken ordinances. On my property... And he's blaming me? I don't think so....
I'm not sure what I will do with this page, but I just shared this story with a friend and thought I'd post a portion of the history to keep the record straight and keep them away from me. A type written letter from their address (no name) was delivered to me on Weds. 9/16/15. After the threatening anonymous letter I received the week before- no more opening letters for me. I sent it back, unopened. I said I was done. I am. He will be very angry that I posted these. This has to stop. My life is in danger. Many wish to hurt me. Many do. All for being sold an undisclosed City hell 5 years ago. No one is protecting me or my loved ones. Just me. As Always. A witch hunt.
After I sent him the history below, I was hoping for him to see how difficult a neighbor they have been. I thought he'd be sorry. I thought wrong. Another neighbor told me that he is getting rid of the chickens and how sad that is.... Jerk. Making me the bad guy instead of getting a fence. I felt really bad after receiving this, felt bad that my neighbor thinks I'm the problem... that has passed. Shame on you neighbor.

I had just finished sending this email and had to go to the store. Your ex wife's dog was in my yard, going over to Rose's. Sally came driving up the street from Northport Ave. She parked and went over to Rose's to get the dog. I told her she was unbelievable as I was in my SUV in the road. She came walking up to me and I told her that she is breaking the law and endangering these dogs. She asked me if she was allowed to make mistakes. I told her that she ALWAYS makes mistakes and to go away. She said that she was free to stand in the road. I told her that I didn't want to hit the dog. She said I wouldn't and refused to move. I drove away.
Please xxxx,, you have got to do something about her, she is your responsibility and she refuses to be a decent and responsible neighbor.

Hi- Nothing splits friendships quicker
than kids and pets. I have watched too many of my dogs die in
childhood because Mom let them out unattended. All morning I have
been sick about having to say this again. But if Blue gets hit or
poisoned and I didn't say something, I will never forgive myself.
This morning after Willow went in, Blue came to the road and was there for at least 10 minutes and then I left to take Michael to school. The plows went past, he stopped himself from chasing it but he wanted to and he was in the road. 2-3 cars were passing, the school bus flies up and down this road, Northport Ave is just a few steps away- garages are open with mouse traps (mine) some may even have poison. Blue goes over to Rose's house too . Not every day, but I see him when my psycho dogs are flipping out.
It only takes once. I know you say he is not supposed to leave the yard but dogs should not be left free unattended, off leash.

So, you saw today that Blue is still roaming free and has always been. Even at night time, I was out shoveling one evening and he came over to greet me, and I melted, gave him some love and sent him back to your house. I did not see Sally at all. Other times, he is out with Willow and while Willow does not leave the yard, Blue does. Willow waits for Blue to come back, it can be awhile. Other times, the 80? year old lady, Becky walks her old dog, Oreo every day past our houses. It is luck of the draw if Blue is out or not. Oreo pulls to get at Blue, and Becky can barely stay upright (I don't know why she is even walking when there is ice and road heaves all over) But, it is scary. And of course my guys are psycho at the window.
I put my TV in my bedroom and try to stay in there so I don't see this. I knew Sally would be upset at first, but thought after a few days she would be thankful and maybe even thank me as you did. No. It will be getting warmer out, I'll be out front working, gardening, grueling wood duty (maybe not though- I'm may be done with wood, I'm loving these bio bricks now that I've got the hang of them) But anyway, Blue is so friendly, he'll come over in a second if I'm out there. I know I shouldn't pet him and should scold him instead but I can't. He is so cute.
To have Sally coming over to get Blue will be uncomfortable for both of us. Sorry xxxx, no roses to smell here. I have nothing to say to Sally. I don't want to deal with this anymore. Please don't respond to this. I know this upsets you, when you are home, you take care of Blue. I know that.

Nothing has changed with Blue on the weekdays. It's not right and it's not right that I have to be upset by this on top of everything else. Stinks that I now I dread opening the door or looking out the window. Today I went out with my dogs, guess she realized Blue wasn't in the back anymore, and came out to look for him. I didn't know she was out, I came out my door with the dogs, and this time Willow didn't stay in the yard and came running towards my dogs. Sally called Willow back and Willow listened. Previously, Willow does not leave the yard when I come out with the my dogs.. I guess because Sally was in the street looking for Blue (who was up the road again) and Willow thought it was OK to leave the yard since Sally was there.
Training is a must when allowed to be off leash. Would have been a lot easier to do before he was allowed to roam free. Neighbors, walkers and pets are going to be outside a lot more as it gets nicer, maybe an electric fence? I would think Erin and Wes can't be too happy after training Willow and now Willow is leaving the yard.

See he's pushing for sidewalks on Wight St. I think they want to erase housing on Seaview. Probably Wight St too.

As this meeting is replaying, I see the good cop bad cop scene playing out. I have sacrificed years to save Seaview Terrace as you enjoyed your life. It was hard not to have support or help and maintain our friendship but I did it.
Thinking that your standing and relationships will save the day is a mistake. When you spoke, you kind of threw me under the bus and came off as superior. You are taking the reigns, but are not prepared and have little patience for my information. You could destroy all I have worked so very hard to fix.
Open to the public is exactly the time to question. You saw first hand, they refused to put us on an agenda for a discussion. Yet, the next guy, of course business, got put on the agenda on the spot. They decided the death sentence for Seaview Terrace a long time ago. I understand how awful it is to be a good person, building your value to society to be back stabbed by those you trusted. Then, to finally see all I have been trying to tell you is true. It is a gift though, you know who your true friends are.
The Findings of Fact is the main mission and they will do all they can to keep it from us. That written request must be sent as I wrote it ASAP. Clearly, you are uncomfortable to take a firm stand and are playing both sides of the fence. That is disaster. Business, this is business. They work for us, they must provide public documents and be accountable. Would you dance around a subordinate employee?
City Planner, Wayne Marshall is on this 2 week vacation now? With the biggest plan on the table, overdue to be made public? Delay tactics to keep the public uninformed, confused and no time for due process. This pattern has been clear as day and all of Belfast is conditioned to accept it. Until new eyes come on to the scene. Mine. 4 years later, I have documented it all to the hilt and, have done all I can to keep in the spotlight and inform. I knew it was going to take a LONG time to get people to open up their eyes, some never do. Few stand up.
All eyes are open, everyone is watching, all I have worked for is on the table. It is illegal to try to put us into this zone and that is exactly what the Findings of Fact is for. Clear standard guidelines to approve or deny. Cut and dry. The only way they can maybe sneak an approval is by listing us as this urban neighborhood. That will be reflected clearly in the findings of fact. WE NEED THAT DOCUMENT. It is held in the Planning Office. Accessible to any. They will try to tell us we have to wait to Wayne comes back. NO. Wayne must tell Sadie Lloyd (assistant planner) to get it out to us. The request must go to Joe Slocum not Wayne Marshall. Must, must, must be Joe Slocum.
I spoke to the water department yesterday. They will be digging up the road within 4 weeks to replace the water line on ALL of Seaview Terrace. Normally, they would handle the whole job with repaving the road. However, City Hall has stated they are paving us this summer. This gets complicated and you can't handle it right now. NEVER TELL THEM YOU ARE WILLING TO LIVE ON A DIRT ROAD. NEVER TELL THEM YOU DON'T NEED SEWERS. You have said this to me, knowing that is exactly what I have been working on, with out any pay, any support, a full time thankless job to save Seaview Terrace.
OK- are we on the same page now? Simple-
1.Findings of Fact
2.Petition to put us into the public hearings with all of us rezoning to r1.
3.Paving Seaview Terrace in conjunction with water line replacement in 4 weeks with road side sewer drainage.

You are taking the reigns, but are not prepared and have little patience for my information. You could destroy all I have worked so very hard to fix.
Open to the public is exactly the time to question. You saw first hand, they refused to put us on an agenda for a discussion. Yet, the next guy, of course business, got put on the agenda on the spot. They decided the death sentence for Seaview Terrace a long time ago. I understand how awful it is to be a good person, building your value to society to be back stabbed by those you trusted. Then, to finally see all I have been trying to tell you is true. It is a gift though, you know who your true friends are.
The Findings of Fact is the main mission and they will do all they can to keep it from us. That written request must be sent as I wrote it ASAP. Clearly, you are uncomfortable to take a firm stand and are playing both sides of the fence. That is disaster. Business, this is business. They work for us, they must provide public documents and be accountable. Would you dance around a subordinate employee?
City Planner, Wayne Marshall is on this 2 week vacation now? With the biggest plan on the table, overdue to be made public? Delay tactics to keep the public uninformed, confused and no time for due process. This pattern has been clear as day and all of Belfast is conditioned to accept it. Until new eyes come on to the scene. Mine. 4 years later, I have documented it all to the hilt and, have done all I can to keep in the spotlight and inform. I knew it was going to take a LONG time to get people to open up their eyes, some never do. Few stand up.
All eyes are open, everyone is watching, all I have worked for is on the table. It is illegal to try to put us into this zone and that is exactly what the Findings of Fact is for. Clear standard guidelines to approve or deny. Cut and dry. The only way they can maybe sneak an approval is by listing us as this urban neighborhood. That will be reflected clearly in the findings of fact. WE NEED THAT DOCUMENT. It is held in the Planning Office. Accessible to any. They will try to tell us we have to wait to Wayne comes back. NO. Wayne must tell Sadie Lloyd (assistant planner) to get it out to us. The request must go to Joe Slocum not Wayne Marshall. Must, must, must be Joe Slocum.
I spoke to the water department yesterday. They will be digging up the road within 4 weeks to replace the water line on ALL of Seaview Terrace. Normally, they would handle the whole job with repaving the road. However, City Hall has stated they are paving us this summer. This gets complicated and you can't handle it right now. NEVER TELL THEM YOU ARE WILLING TO LIVE ON A DIRT ROAD. NEVER TELL THEM YOU DON'T NEED SEWERS. You have said this to me, knowing that is exactly what I have been working on, with out any pay, any support, a full time thankless job to save Seaview Terrace.

of fact issue - I am trying to figure out exactly what it is you are
talking about. I still don't know. But plan to ask Joe

petition with you when I have a good draft, but I am not declaring
war on anyone. I see it as an instrument to concisely convey
our desires and show the level of support we have for it.
This weekend, we need to get folks informed and hopefully get some
support.
As for the road, I
got a note from water saying they are paving this fall.
I just hope they improve the drainage somehow; I don't have as strong
feelings as you do about what kind of system that is. But as I
said at the meeting, there is a problem here.

It is hinging on the r3 zoning no doubt. That zone would require more than residential road requirements... We must get the rezoning to r1 squared away NOW.

Erin, so many cheap shots by so many NEIGHBORS, for so long. It has
been very difficult for me to be a friend to you on your terms. More
difficulty with Sally. And she is here all day. Sucked the little

Months ago I began staying out of the living room- was avoiding her at all costs. Until she came to me for information on the R3 zone. Then you both dismissed all I have sacrificed that ALL leads to this. And you put yourself in charge of the petition, and have been beyond difficult, Sally no better.
I know my limits. I have nothing constructive to say and I don't care what you have to say.

Shortly after,a young man from came walking down from the top of Seaview. He said he was looking for a stray he had just seen on Rte 1, dodging cars. He was walking along Rte 1 and cut over to Seaview Terrace by the culvert to try and find him. He said he saw a woman looking for the dog. He said it was a black dog. I told him to call the police. This was a little over an hour ago and it has been gnawing at my conscience. I had to let you know.
I don't know if it was Blue, but it could happen any day. Right through your back to Rte 1. He has no fear of the roads and it worries me badly. I am rarely in the front of my house or in my living room so that I don't see this. This tells me it is much more frequent.

No- I was
there, Sally was in the backyard and Blue ran after the
worker, down the road. Sally cannot stop Blue, she does not use her
voice command. She walks over to him and still doesn't use commands
to teach him to get back to the yard and stay in the yard. I can't
understand why Sally is not proactive in Blue's safety.
A bell would help until she learns how to handle Blue. They are annoying in the house, but could be on a collar that you put on when he goes out. Then you could hear him getting distant as you work in your gardens and can command him back before he leaves.
Around 5, I saw the stray dog- it came out from your backyard and over to Rose's. I opened my garage and tried to bait him/her over but the dog took off- back behind your house. He is black and brown- looks like a small German Shepard mix- had a bandanna around neck.

The water line guys told me a month ago that they would not be seeding with hay until after the City had the road paved. Yesterday, they told me they are seeding and haying now and would not say anything about paving.
I have had enough. Let 6 inches pour down and wipe out Seaview Terrace. It can happen any day and there will be no time. It's going to pour in just like Hurley threatened- the new Grand Canyon.

Do you know the chickens roam into everyone's yards? Again they were in my yard- my dogs FLIPPING (more than normal) out. They really want those chickens.
Not sure if you can open this 20 second video I just took. Aren't you supposed to fence the chickens in? If my dogs didn't go wild when your animals come into my yard I wouldn't mind. But I didn't like picking up Blue's poo in my yard after I stepped in it (on several occasions) Sally does keep watch on Blue now. Two steps forward, one step back with chickens.
Get your "chicks" under control. Human and feathered. :) Couldn't resist and I am joking.

Sally plays
fetch with Blue in the road, up and down the road. How is he
supposed to know that he is not to go into the road when she does
this? I have not said anything because it is useless after close to
2? years of this. But, then I see beautiful Blue running, happy and
goofy into the road (4 times since yesterday) and it makes me sick
to think he could be dead. The last time was 2 hours ago. Sally saw
me in the driveway shoveling, she pulled in, should have had a

I know you are not here. I just saw Blue, alone and roaming up Seaview. My dogs spotted him and began barking. Blue came back and ran into your yard.
Blue is in the house alone for most of the day, several times during the week. I never see Blue being taken for a walk. Sally doesn't deserve Blue.

When I needed to amend the petition for the rezoning, was when I was done with Sally. They overstepped me, stating they wanted to do the petition without researching the Comprehensive Plan laws or just asking me. I was the one to alert the neighborhood of the attempt to illegally rezone Seaview Terrace. They went to City Manager Joe Slocum for advise on the petition to stop the rezoning that Slocum initiated!! They write up the petition and tell me that City Hall and others think I'm crazy. Great. I tell my neighbor not to do that to me. I tell him that going to Slocum was like going to the devil and asking how to get to heaven.
After I signed the petition, I realized that one sentence was sneaky and didn't need to be there. My neighbor was at work, I emailed him and told him I wanted the petition back to amend my signature to exclude that sentence. He said to go over and ask Sally for it. Blue was just a puppy and Sally let him out, unsupervised. Heading for the intersection, again and again. He was a puppy, goofy, innocent and running free. I had told my neighbor several times that this was dog abuse and I would not be guilty of enabling injury by silence. Sally continued and I told. The last thing I wanted to do was go over and ask her for the petition. But I did. And I was nice.
She was not. She reluctantly went in the house to get it. Taking a VERY long time and comes out with it. It's 95 and blaring. I needed to compose my objection to the sentence. I told her I'd bring it back. She held on to it and said no, do it here. On the hood of the car- she hands me a pen. I was shocked and did not want to cause a scene. I just wanted to get that petition fixed before it was given to Slocum. I maintained civility by totally ignoring her.
It just peaked with the video I uploaded to you tube of the chickens in my yard again and another with Sally walking past the chickens scratching on another's property. She didn't care.
She saw me in my yard and I decided to video her walking past the chickens.
I sent him the you tubes and he tried to deflect. Stating the chickens were harmless and none of the neighbors minded. Not true. I told him how dogs barks every time the chickens go onto the dogs property. I thought he'd finally put up a fence and do the right thing.
I should have known that he would make me the bad one. He did. I hear instead of fencing the chickens in as required by law, he may be getting rid of the chickens because I am the problem.
The rainbow is, after 2 years, Blue is finally being trained and is protected with a leash. The chickens won't be on my property making my dogs flip out. I don't have to deal with the continuing problematic neighbors because I am done. Case closed. Next.
On this day, this adorable beagle was dropped off to be doggie sat for the day by the neighbor. Right.

I had just finished sending this email and had to go to the store. Your ex wife's dog was in my yard, going over to Rose's. Sally came driving up the street from Northport Ave. She parked and went over to Rose's to get the dog. I told her she was unbelievable as I was in my SUV in the road. She came walking up to me and I told her that she is breaking the law and endangering these dogs. She asked me if she was allowed to make mistakes. I told her that she ALWAYS makes mistakes and to go away. She said that she was free to stand in the road. I told her that I didn't want to hit the dog. She said I wouldn't and refused to move. I drove away.
Please xxxxxxx, you have got to do something about her, she is your responsibility and she refuses to be a decent and responsible neighbor.

3/24/15- Two years ago my neighbor, directly and closely across the street (100 ft between our front doors), brought in a house mate, Sally Jaskold. She works from the house and is in and out all day. I welcomed her AND have helped her on several occasions. Soon after, they adopted a beautiful black lab mix puppy and named him Blue. Blue is all love. Bounding with energy and goofy innocence. Leash laws save their lives. Through out my youth, my parents would let our dogs out, some got killed by cars right in front of our house and some just disappeared. We had many dogs, high turnover and high trauma's for me.
Sally doesn't want to "tether" Blue, will not train Blue and violates the leash the law. Dogs cannot be off leash if they do not respond to voice command. Sally continually let Blue outside unsupervised to run in the street with Rte 1 in the backyard and the hospital at the other side on Northport Ave. Again and again, I'd see Blue running and roaming with Sally nowhere in sight. I'd text and call my neighbor to alert him as I went after Blue. Sally would then appear and use her soft voice to call Blue back. Most times, he would continue on his way and she would walk with soft talk calling, to eventually get him by the collar and bring him back to the house. Never even having a doggie snack to hasten the danger.
Two years of this, and I see it all the time because my beagles police the street from my picture window. Each time, I relive the death of my dogs and I have told this to my neighbor. Please save Blue. He is responsible with Blue but she is not. He is rarely home and it sickens me each time I have to deal with this. I would never forgive myself if Blue got hurt or died so I keep trying.
It got so bad, that I took the TV out of the living room and try to stay in the back of the house so I wouldn't see Blue in the street, running loose. Many times my elder neighbor would be walking her dog and Blue would run up to them, causing her dog to pull her, even on top of snow and ice. She began carrying a stick to try and scare him away. Eventually, she just stopped walking her dog past our homes. The next door neighbor's dog was trained to stay in the yard, but soon was following Blue into exploring. Sally is no dummy, she is without conscience or morals but appears so organic. I got her number right away. Another fake person. No thanks.
On top of all the corruption and abuse, this robs the little joy I grab in my home, my only sanctuary. If I am outside and Blue runs over, I have to ignore him until Sally comes to get him. It is awful. She see's I am outside and just does not care. In fact, she must do it on purpose because it is consistent for 2 years. She is never sorry and I remain silent and advise my neighbor. He is the homeowner.
It is so dangerous for Blue. It only takes one time. Sally takes Blue up and down the road off leash to play fetch. Of course he doesn't know his boundaries. Poor Blue. She lets him out of the car knowing he will run over to me, rather than leash him and take him into the house. The other day, Blue came bounding over, so excited to stand on this gorgeous, enormous rock that I have in my front yard. Through the snow and there he stood like Simba on Pride Rock, as I came walking from my back yard. He was so cute and happy. My beagles were at the window outraged and flipping out.
Enough. I finally spoke to her this time. She said "Pardon me?" As if clueless to the danger that she is to Blue by letting him out to run free. For two years I have pleaded to protect Blue. Now she is on my property trying to call Blue off the rock. I told her that she could care less how she upsets me. I told her that it is because of people like her that leash laws are in place. I walked away and into the house. I didn't inform my neighbor. I am done with that.
This morning, she let Blue out the front door again, off leash as I was coming out. This is my last resort, public posting to save Blue and my peace. Sally Jaskold- SHAME ON YOU!!!
3/28/15- Googled Sally and here we go, Belfast player. Who knew? Not me. Now, I know why she has been so difficult to me. I thought she may have threatened by my friendship with her landlord and house mate, my neighbor. I made sure to not cross any boundaries in that arena. When Sally demanded that I review the petition for the illegal rezoning of Seaview Terrace under HER supervision last summer 2014, I held back from telling her off. Only because of my neighbor.
I was the one to expose the illegal rezoning, protesting for months until my neighbor realized that this was a threat to his home and he began the petition. Under the direction of the City Manager, Joe Slocum- the very man trying to slide the illegal zoning through. My neighbor went to the devil to ask him how to get to heaven, basically.
After his meeting with Joe Slocum, he made sure to tell me that City Hall thinks I'm crazy. My neighbor telling me that Joe Slocum is nice to him. Seriously. He is not the only one to do that. All of those that don't want to stand up against abuse and corruption, blame the victim. I should have not angered them. I am too demanding. I was supposed to take it. I've heard it since my brother first laid into me as kids. Then with my ex. Now with a whole population. How's that working for the world crisis we are in? Corruption and abuse off the globe and Belfast could be the starting point. It has to start somewhere- I am trying. They are paving paradise, destroying the very true grit of Belfast.
It appears that Joe Slocum screwed him too and therefore all of Seaview Terrace. The specifics to the rezoning are in the blog- but in a nutshell, I think Joe Sloscum advised my neighbor to draw up this petition to pacify and deceive. I had signed the petition and then had second thoughts about the wording on the petition. I told my neighbor that I wanted to make an amendment next to my signature. He was at work, he told me to get the petition from Sally. Sally took her time to go get the petition. It was hot outside. She finally brought it out and I told her I'd make my note on it and bring it back. She said NO. Do it right here. I was shocked. She took it back inside, got a pen and came out and handed it to me. I didn't know exactly how I wanted to word it, so I had to stand there in the sun and think about it as she supervised me. It was outrageous. I didn't need another drama from a bully so I sucked it up and wrote my note on the hood of the blazing car hood.
City Council voted in the final zoning back in 10/2014 and Slocum refuses to update the City website to reflect the final zoning for Seaview Terrace and surrounding streets as well. I have caught Slocum again and again in lies. His words have zero merit. Final documents are the only source of accountability. Slocum with holds the final source. A prior attorney, he is manipulating public outcry until appeals or some other legal requirement runs out. Secure in knowing that a lawsuit to the City will not stop the wheels of corruption. It will most likely break the plaintiff's in billable hours as we foot the bill for the City Attorney to break us. A recent listing on Seaview Terrace reflected the R3 zone. The real estate agents refuse to confirm that Seaview Terrace is R3 and refer me back to Joe Sloscum. Sloscum angrily responds that Seaview Terrace is R2 and he doesn't know what else to do to convince me of that. PUT THE THE FINAL "Inside the Bypass" ZONING VOTED IN ON 10/2014 ON THE WEBSITE. Five months after the vote and the public doesn't know what zone City Council voted neighborhoods into is CORRUPT. Sloscum keeps dodging updating the City website. My neighbor is also in the media business and is highly protective of his reputation. He avoids public conflict like the plague. I am sorry for him. He has helped me a lot as I have helped him. I respect his privacy but his tenant is a constant problem. Like those deceived by friends in Ponzi scheme's- City Hall pretends to be friends until they nail your coffin shut. The friend plays dead rather than expose the fraud, it's too humiliating.

Nearly
cried at my first bite. I had the Mountain Man pizza, which hosts
homemade mozza w. mushrooms and slivers of briefly cooked potatoes that
