Above link is a video I was recording of the Memorial where a reporter, for the local paper disgraced the sanctity. At the time, I didn't realize she was a reporter, thought she was ignorant. Then, I saw her pictures in the paper and knew that she did this professionally and unethically. I posted a comment, asking if she was the reporter for the paper, thinking a public apology would serve all. Instead my comment was deleted and I contacted the paper's editor. Sadly, he supports the disrespect- read below.

A thorn punctured my eyeball the day before, requiring a trip to the ER. It was tearing and very painful. Every year, Memorial Day is absolute sacrilege to honor my deceased Dad, WWII Navy Veteran and to those that give me my freedom to say this is wrong. It's the least I can do. This woman disgraced respect, purposely intruding and walking right on top of graves! She made me sick.

> She could have chosen any other spot- but chose to ruin my video. Those shots were not even published. In fact the shots published were poor compared to Dan West's. I was positioned between graves and was holding a full sized flag high while recording with the other hand, eye tearing non-stop. The ceremony was underway. I had been at this position first and was not blocking anyone. Other's came along the sides and behind me. Once this woman blocked me, I could not move, I would have blocked other's, stepped on graves and missed taping completely.

> If she is your employee, as a professional, I am sure you can understand how upsetting this was. Then to have my comment deleted (stating the above and asking if she is Jordan) is even more unprofessional. If this woman is not Jordan, than it would have been appropriate to state that. My comment was not out of line and in fact very respectful considering her disregard and disrespect on Memorial Day.

The video is not misleading or incorrect. It is sad that you support such disrespect and dishonor to a sacred event and sacred ground.
I'm bringing up the rear- house flag high in one hand- camcorder in the other- Marine Soldier Horsey steps up to escort me. Simple and true, this Belfast I love.
