Rear passenger door floorboard. Exact spot of rot prior to "repair". Clearly not repaired, just painted over. After a few bully tactics by this business, the below letters were sent registered, certified, signed for by Skip's wife Barb. He has not responded, must file with small claims court. Keep beating on the beat up woman. All these ego's thinking they can. This picture was taken within a year of the repair.

Please provide your
reasoning for granting judgment to the defendant, John Smith per
small claims trail on 2/06/2015. Your judgment was rendered after
the hearing and the notice did not have your reasons for your ruling.
Documentation proves
a faulty auto body repair, unsatisfactory and threatening resolutions
by the owner John Smith were not acceptable. I wrote specific and
reasonable instructions for the overseeing of the faulty repair with
trepidation. Previous veral attempts to resolve the corrupt repair
were unsettling. John Smith refused to commit in writing to the
resolution and left a threatening message on my answering machine
that I played in court documented with written transcript.
That message where
John told me that no one is out to get me and that I need to get over
it was shocking and totally unprofessional. In the message, John
Smith states that he did not receive my transmitted fax for written
resolution. John Smith's tone and stumbling in this message makes it
clear that he did receive the fax and had no intentions to put the
resolution in writing. At that point, a refund was the only option.
In court, John Smith
committed perjury. John Smith claimed he has to manually accept the
fax regardless that the transmission was completed. J&B Auto Body
is a collision estimate go to for insurance claims. It is ludicrous
that insurance companies would only be able to get their faxes to J&B
Auto Body only when John Smith was there to push a button to accept
it.

My written
resolutions provided to the court cited specific unacceptable
unprofessional work and abusive behaviors from an employee and John
Smith immediately after the faulty repair was completed.
In court, John Smith
committed further perjury with a document accepted as evidence. A
bogus estimate that was dated 2015 with John Smith even stating he
did not give me a copy of this estimate. John Smith giving the court
this estimate for over $3,000 and stating this was the true cost to
properly repair the small rust coming through on the rear passenger
side floor door frame. John Smith stated that he gave me a break
because I didn't have a lot of money and gave me a no frills repair
with the estimate I gave to courts for $1058.49. A legal estimate for
full documented repair and double the verbal estimate John Smith gave
me prior to my bringing the SUV in for the week long repair where I
had made all the arrangements for alternate transportation. Bait and
switch. I told this in the courts and said I “sucked it up” and
went ahead with the repair because John Smith had told me I would not
pass inspection if I did not get it repaired. I stated that I had
just passed inspection at VIP in Belfast and John Smith said I was
lucky.
John Smith stated in
court that he would not make the repairs now and that he never wanted
to see my face again. John Smith committed perjury again and stated I
left him scathing messages and that he unfortunately did not keep.
The last thing I would do would be to anger him more and give him my
SUV to “repair” again. In court, John Smith was visibly shaking,
stumbling with clear lies and verbally angry. This and all the
documentation I provided was absolute proof that the only resolution
was a refund.
John Smith should
have been accommodating and compensating. Instead, John Smith was
awarded for a corrupt repair, over charging by doubling the repair
from $500-600 to $1058.49, intimidation tactics, perjury and anger
issues.
I am at a loss for
this ruling and request the reasons in writing for awarding judgment
to John Smith.

Nov. 19, 2011, my 2002 Ford Explorer was hit broadside in the front
fender. Skip at J&B
Autobody
provided the estimate of record to the drivers insurance company.
Skip also told
me
to watch for rust on the floor door rocker. He showed me a small rust
spot and said I would
not
pass inspection. I had just passed inspection at VIP Belfast. Skip
said I was lucky.
In
September of 2012 I brought the Exporer to Skip to schedule the rust
repair. He told me it
would
cost about $500 or $600 and he did not give me a formal estimate.
When I brought the
Explorer
back to leave it for repair, Skip handed me an estimate for $1058.49.
I knew I was
being
taken advantage of but felt a confrontation would result in harm to
my Explorer.
Inspection
was due the following month and I had already rented a car to use
while the
Explorer
was being repaired. I sucked it up and went ahead with the repair.
Skips message left on my machine. After he states "automatically assume everybody's out to get you and deal with it" after his employee beat the gas on my SUV right in front of me, the repair was corrupt, he refused to return my calls, I had given up. Then, I saw him at the Little River Vet and decided to try to get it fixed, if he agreed to my conditions in writing. As stated in the above letter. He did not. know why you automatically assume everybody’s out to get you but you gotta stop
doing that.
Bring your
car over, we’ll look it over, I can make a date now cause we got enough stuff
out of the way. The weather will be better. We’ll figure this out and get it
done for you. I’ll be here all week. I gotta go out around noon time today and
Thursday. Every night I’m here.

ReplyHere is the BDN post that got deleted. If the BDN held the same standards to all it would be fine. But, they allow incredible trash but protect Belfast and the related... Our local reporter for BDN Abbie Curtis will not report or investigate any of the corruption I have uncovered. She is sweet but the public needs to know. It is state wide- media skirts the bullies instead of holding them accountable to ACCURATELY answer. Again and again, media accepts whatever stupid statement they give as a reply. Very disturbing.

She ruled in favor of the defendant. I googled her name, her hubby's mommy was the Mayor of Belfast, hubby owns mega prime real estate and is on Board of Directors @ WCGH, hubby's sister was a high end real estate agent... and that's only what I found in a quick search and below, surprise, surprise...
